Superintendent Steve Mohr wants to hear from you! Significant changes are taking place in education today and an important levy renewal request is on the ballot on May 5th. In an effort to improve communications with district residents about these changes, or any issue or concern district residents may have, he will be available on the second and fourth Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the high school library. The next "Saturday Morning With The Superintendent" will be Saturday, August 9th. This is an informal setting, no appointments are necessary.
Welcome to the Wynford Local Schools website. Hopefully, you will find it easy to navigate this site to access information about our district.
The Wynford Local Schools has a tradition of excellence in academics, arts and extra-curriculars and takes seriously its mission statement of "Every child, every dream, every day ..... is our passion!" Because of this commitment, the district offers non traditional educational options in the form of Post Secondary Education Opportunity classes, Dual Enrollment courses, Credit Flexibility options, and numerous online courses, that all allow students the opportunity to personalize their education.
With the educational landscape changing on an almost daily basis with new mandates, requirements and improvements in technology, we pledge to continually evaluate our programs, policies and procedures to provide an education that prepares our students for an ever changing world.
Please feel free to contact me to share your comments or concerns about any issue regarding our schools.
Steve Mohr, Superintendent
